1. General provisions

BitsDir.com is a manually curated web directory operated by WittyBits Studio.

Use of the Service is free and voluntary. Browsing the directory does not require registration.

By using the Service — creating an account, submitting a site, or sending a message — the user accepts these Terms.

Matters not covered by these Terms are governed by applicable law.

2. Definitions
ServiceThe BitsDir.com website including all sub-pages and features.
OperatorWittyBits Studio — the entity operating the Service.
UserAny person using the Service, regardless of whether they have an account.
ListingA website accepted and published in the BitsDir directory.
SubmissionA request to add a site submitted by a User.
3. Rules of use

Users agree to use the Service in accordance with the law, good practices, and these Terms.

Sending spam, using automated bots or scrapers without the Operator's written consent is forbidden.

Impersonating other people, companies, or services is forbidden.

The Operator may block access to users who violate these rules.

4. Submitting sites

Any user may submit a site for free. Submission does not guarantee publication — every request is manually reviewed.

We accept sites that:
✓Contain valuable, original content.
✓Work correctly and are accessible.
✓Do not use aggressive or dangerous practices.
✓Comply with applicable law.
We reject submissions for sites that:
✗Contain illegal content or infringe copyright.
✗Promote spam, phishing, or malware.
✗Are doorway pages without valuable content.
✗Present adult content without age gates.
✗Are duplicates of existing listings.

The Operator may remove a listing without giving a reason.

5. User accounts

Registration requires a name, email address, and password. Users must provide accurate information.

Each email address may be linked to only one account.

Users are responsible for keeping their login credentials confidential.

The Operator may suspend or delete accounts violating these Terms without prior notice.

Users may request account deletion at any time by writing to hello@bitsdir.com.

6. Prohibited actions
Users are prohibited in particular from:
Submitting fake or non-existent sites.
Manipulating site statistics.
Sending spam via the contact form.
Attempting unauthorized access to Service systems.
Mass-scraping data in a way that disrupts the Service.
Impersonating the Operator or other users.
7. Copyright

All elements of the Service are protected by copyright and owned by WittyBits Studio.

Users submitting a site confirm they have the right to publish the provided information.

By submitting, the User grants the Operator a free license to display the provided data in BitsDir.

Copying or distributing Service content without written consent is prohibited.

8. Disclaimer

BitsDir is an informational directory. The Operator accepts no liability for the content, operation, or availability of external sites listed.

The Operator does not guarantee uninterrupted availability and may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance.

Links to external sites are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute endorsement.

9. Changes

The Operator may amend these Terms at any time. Changes take effect upon publication.

Registered users will be notified of significant changes by email.

Continued use after publication constitutes acceptance. Current version always at /terms/.
